Now, THIS was quite a sight...
I spotted this little "oops" at about 1:30 AM, on Saturday, June 16, 2007. The location: the parking lot at the base of "the tower" in downtown Bloomington. I have made sure that this young lady's license plate does not show, and her face is not pictured. So, as there is no personally identifiable information provided, I have absolutely no qualms about sharing the story, as I understand it. According to witnesses, the young lady in question jumped in her car and attempted to make a quick getaway, after fleeing police officers. The officers were reportedly summoned by a bouncer at a downtown bar. The bouncer supposedly caught the already inebriated young lady using a fake ID. I will say that she appeared to be miserably failing a field sobriety test, as I drove by.
Just imagine being around 20 years old again... Now, imagine having to tell mom and dad about THIS one!!! :-(
Or, how would you like to be on the receiving-end of this call...
"Um... Dad...? I sort of wrecked the car... Happy Fathers' Day!"
After finding their children sneaking back into the house, after curfew, I'm sure that most parents wouldn't even bat an eye at the old "COW-tipping" excuse. But, "CAR-tipping"...?! That one might raise an eyebrow.
Any Ideas how they're going to get this car down, without causing additional damage? My only thought is to lift the front end with a tow-truck and push it back into the parking lot.
